It has been said about the alluvium, the dragging of sediments, that when the force of water is pouring out the negligence of solidified time, remains of the fracture are sown in a new place, at the instant of encounter.
The encounter of the two unknown in a common place, works as a counterpoint that materializes and decides to germinate. It is the dragging and collission of dissonant experiences over the same surface. Aluwium/Aluvión emerges as the need to build containers capable of holding those experiences and allowing them to establish their own language and generate their own space.
Elements of the piece are understood as a whole. Aluwium/Aluvión speaks with three voices: two great format paintings, continous audio structure and a book of disorderly visual representations. The interest is set in contradiction and conflict – those are the fundaments that guided the creative process. Without hope for harmony but for depuration, the work is obtained through a chaotic constant.
